Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Google OAuth.
Content you create. We store the projects, slideshows, captions, and images you create or upload while using SlideFire.
Automation and scheduling data. If you use automations or the content calendar, we store your schedule settings, connected TikTok account assignments, and the status of scheduled or automated posts.
Billing and usage data. If you subscribe or add prepaid spending, we store your plan tier, subscription status, billing period dates, a Stripe customer reference, invoice references, prepaid balance, and a ledger of AI usage (job type, amount charged, and timestamp). We do not store full payment card numbers — Stripe processes payments.
Usage analytics. We collect first-party usage data to understand how SlideFire is used and to improve the product. This includes pages you view, approximate location (country and city from our host), IP address (encrypted at rest on our servers), browser type, and referral/UTM parameters when present. We store a random visitor identifier in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). We also use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate pageview metrics (no cookies; privacy-friendly by default). When you sign in, we may link that identifier to your account. We also record product events such as onboarding steps, checkout starts, and generation outcomes. Known bots are filtered at ingest and are not counted in metrics.
TikTok account data. If you connect a TikTok account, we collect your basic TikTok profile (user ID, display name, avatar URL) and store OAuth access and refresh tokens so we can publish content on your behalf. We only call TikTok APIs you authorized during the OAuth consent flow.
We use the information we collect to provide and improve SlideFire. This includes:
We do not sell your personal data. As the operator of SlideFire, we have administrative access to the content you upload as part of running the service. See our Terms of Service for details on content licensing.
We share data with the following services as needed to operate SlideFire:
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Billing records may be kept longer where required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance. Prepaid spending balance remains on your account until used or your account is deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no system is completely secure.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from the project settings page, which revokes SlideFire's access to your TikTok account and removes the stored OAuth tokens. To delete your SlideFire account or exercise other rights, contact us at the email below.
