Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Google OAuth.

Content you create. We store the projects, slideshows, captions, and images you create or upload while using SlideFire.

TikTok account data. If you connect a TikTok account, we collect your basic TikTok profile (user ID, display name, avatar URL) and store OAuth access and refresh tokens so we can publish content on your behalf. We only call TikTok APIs you authorized during the OAuth consent flow.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve SlideFire. This includes:

  • Generating AI-assisted slideshow scripts and image suggestions based on your project settings
  • Publishing content to TikTok on your behalf when you initiate a post
  • Debugging issues, preventing abuse, and supporting users

We do not sell your personal data. As the operator of SlideFire, we have administrative access to the content you upload as part of running the service. See our Terms of Service for details on content licensing.

3. Third-party services

We share data with the following services as needed to operate SlideFire:

  • Supabase — stores your account data, project content, and uploaded images
  • OpenAI — processes your project settings and prompts to generate slideshow scripts and creative suggestions
  • Google — handles authentication; we receive your name and email
  • TikTok — receives content you choose to publish (title, description, slideshow images) and returns publish status; we receive your basic TikTok profile after you authorize the connection
  • Vercel — hosts the application

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no system is completely secure.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from the project settings page, which revokes SlideFire's access to your TikTok account and removes the stored OAuth tokens. To delete your SlideFire account or exercise other rights, contact us at the email below.
